Tufts: 4mm diameter from 20mm to 30mm spacings, for elvers and juvenile eels
Choosing the right spacing
Tuft spacing can be matched to the predominant size of eel or elver at your site. A common approach is to line one side of a channel with 20mm and 30mm boarding.
For mixed sizes, our Split Pitch boards combine two spacings on one board, in both flexi and rigid forms.
